Rosser Newton is in Dallas. The simplest way to reach him is through one of the profiles listed below, each of which is his own. This site has no form, no mailing list and nothing to sign up for.

The page exists because a personal site should say plainly how its subject can be reached, and because a list of real profiles is the best protection against the fake ones that sometimes appear under a public name. Every profile below links back to the same person and carries his own writing or his own record.

People most often write about the book, about a talk on Texas history, or about the Alamo Letter Society and its courthouse plaques. For the book, the books page names the publisher. For the historical organizations he belongs to, the civic page describes each one and links to it. For a short account of who he is, start with the about page. His writing on other sites is indexed on the published page.

A note on names. He is Rosser Newton on most of these profiles and Rosser Coke Newton on the publisher’s and the historical association’s pages, which follow the name printed on the book. Both refer to the same person, and the about page uses the full name.

Correspondence about Texas history is welcome through any of them. He does not take requests for investment through this site or through these profiles. For anything to do with the firm, its own channels are the right place.

For press, the press page lists the coverage so far and names the outlets that ran it. For research questions about Richard Coke or the period, the reference entries on this site are a better first stop than a message, since each one cites the records a researcher would want next.
